Each player will want to use the cards in your hand to create matches; however, if cards are left unmatched, they are called deadwood (you want as little deadwood as possible).
The remaining cards in the deck will be face-down and become the stockpile from which you can grab them. One card will be placed face-up from the discard pile to begin the game. On the first turn, a player can decide to pick up the face-up card or pass. Then, the dealer (the computer) will choose to pick it up or pass it. If the dealer passes, the player can draw from the stockpile. You can draw from either the stock pile or the discard pile for the remaining turns, but at the end of each turn, you must discard one card from your hand.
At the bottom of your screen is a button to get your best match. If you have a potential meld, hold down on the group of cards and drag and drop the set, or run to the meld area. You can also attach suitable cards to any of the displayed melds.
When you have one free card left in your hand, you will be rummy or going out, meaning you can eliminate all your cards in a single turn.
