Looking for a game that’s a little more action packed than the average cash prize game? Slayhem might be just what you’ve been searching for.

We have created a complete user guide and review for the Slayhem app, so you can see if this game is right for you before you spend any time playing. We will be covering everything you need to know about Slayhem, including the tips and tricks that will increase your score and how much you can actually win through their cash prize tournaments.

What is Slayhem?

Slayhem is a free game available on all iOS and Samsung devices that challenges users to score points by slaying monsters. The game is a single player, but it is still interactive and competitive. On the app, users can face other real players to see how many points they can score in one round of Slayhem.

The Slayhem app offers unlimited free play practice rounds in addition to real cash prize tournaments.

The app was developed by Pragmatic in partnership with Skillz games. Pragmatic is a small mobile gaming developer that specializes in creating immersive adventure games. Skillz Games is a powerhouse in the real money gaming world; they work with all kinds of mobile game developers to bring real cash prize tournaments to their games.

On Slayhem users can enjoy unlimited free play and 24/7 cash prize tournaments against other real competitors. There are no bots and no ads on the app- just fun!

Is Slayhem Legit?

Yes, Slayhem is legit. It is backed by Skillz, so users can play knowing that the cash prizes are real. Skillz pays out their cash prizes through PayPal, not gift cards. With Slayhem, you’ll get your winnings in actual cash.

How Does Slayhem Work?

Slayhem is a single player adventure game that offers skill-based tournaments for cash prizes or just for fun. The game uses a point system to quantify every competitor’s skill level. Whoever scores the most points by the end of the round wins.

For their cash prize tournaments, the Slayhem app uses the entry fee model. For every cash prize tournament, all competitors must pay a small entry fee to participate. These entry fees make up the cash prize pools that will be distributed amongst the top scoring competitors.

Entry fees are priced according to the cash prize pool amount. The higher the cash prize pool is, the more an entry fee will cost. Entry fees start at just 60 cents and can run up to $10. If you win the game you will profit from your entry fee investment, winning it back and then some. But if you lose the game, you will lose your entry fee.

Because of the entry fee model, there is risk associated with playing the cash tournaments on Slayhem. However, the risk you take with Slayhem is not quite the same as the risk you take on gambling at a casino. This is because Slayhem tournaments are based on skill. You’ll never have to bet against the house or hope that an algorithm will let you win.

How to Pay Slayhem

The game controls for Slayhem are relatively simple when compared to other combat games. The object of the game is to defeat as many monsters as possible before the time runs out. To slay monsters, tap your attack buttons at the bottom corner of you screen.

Your avatar has two attacks: the sword and kyoketsu-shoge. The sword is best for close up attacks, and the kyoketsu-shoge is best for attacking at a distance.

To dodge the monsters and move your avatar, use the joystick at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. There you can move from left to right and jump to avoid attackers and meet flying monsters.

Slayhem is as easy as dodging monster’s attacks and effectively using your attacks to defeat the monsters. You have until the timer runs out or until your run out of XP to score points by slaying monsters.

Top Tips for Slayhem

Here are our go-to tips to boost your score on Slayhem.

Attack one monster at a time

There will be multiple monsters in the arena a once. Focus your energy at one monster at a time to limit your threats. Once you have defeated a monster, it will disappear leaving you more space to deal with the rest.

Learn how every monster makes their attack

There are only three enemy types in Slayhem, and they all have specific attacks. Learn how each monster move and attacks, this will help you slay them faster with less damage to your XP.

Save flying monsters for last

Most of the time, flying monsters will not fly to the bottom of the arena when there are other enemies present. Save flying monsters for last so you won’t have to jump into other enemies’ attacks after you have slayed any flying monsters.

Attack from behind whenever possible

Every monster on Slayhem is most vulnerable when you attack from behind. Jump over your opponents and navigate around them to quickly set your attacks with minimal damage to your XP.

How Much can you Win Playing Slayhem?

Your winning potential on Slayhem comes down to how much you play and how much entry fee cash you are willing to risk. Users that have been playing the game for longer will unlock cash prize pools reaching $45, but when you first download the game you will only have smaller prize pools available to you.

Beginners can expect to see prize pools reaching $20, with potential profits of $12 for first place participants.
